Glub, glub, glub . . .
It’s this sound which reminds me of store bought Italian dressing. Tilting the bottle of store bought Italian dressing is like playing with one of those oil and water toys . . not appealing. Some brands are worse than others, but I just prefer to make my own. No additives or preservatives, and hey, I already have the ingredients on hand.
I also don’t like the flavor of store bought dressings. It’s this fake or almost burned garlic taste, and it’s overly oily. I pretty much hate it. I make all my own dressings, and my two favorites are lemon garlic and balsamic dressings.
I also make an Italian dressing which is fresh and delicious. I concocted a dry mix base, using things you probably have in your cupboard. It takes just literally a couple minutes to make, and you don’t have to spend almost $3 on a bottle of yucky, store bought dressing which reminds you of something your kids would beg you for in a souvenir store.
