Powdered milk is outrageously expensive, except for at Aldi. If you are lucky enough to live near an Aldi, you can pick up a box of their powdered milk to extend the life of your fresh milk. This powdered milk ends up being $2.20 a gallon. When your milk is half gone, constitute some of your dried milk and add it to the fresh. No one will notice. I promise.
