Smudge-Free Garden Markers

Smudge-free Garden Markers

I prepared a flat of plants for winter sowing, and I already have several plants sprouting. The only problem is, I made my garden markers in a rush, intending to replace them with something better. I never did. Now the ink smudged on my plant markers, and I have over 40 plants and  no idea which plants I have. Not too smart. I discovered a way to prevent this in the future. I took short craft sticks and wrote the plant names.  I then painted over the writing with clear nail polish. This will keep the writing legible. In the picture, I used sparkle nail polish, but I think it’s best to use just clear in the future.
